Animation

I use a mix of Blender and other movie-creating softwares to create entertaining 2D and 3D animations. Because of the way Blender works, I often integrate 3D components into my 2D animations.

Check out some of my previous works!

Porktaro's Bizarre Adventure

character design, storyboarding, sound design, drawing

One of my first longer animation projects:
Inspired by scenes from the popular shows Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Dragon Ball Z, and Naruto, I created and animated a story about Peppa Pig to capitalize on the meme potential of Peppa Pig and Jojo's. The drawings in my animation were heavily inspired by the aforementioned works. For the sound, I combined various pieces of music and dialogue to try to portray general emotions. The subtitles are not related to the dialogue, and I apologize if you know Japanese.

The animation had a surprising amount of success on YouTube with over 55k views currently.

Peppa Mitai

modeling, rigging, music editing

I made a 3D model of a buff Peppa Pig in Blender. I then used a 3D mesh & rig to make it stylishly walk to an abbreviated version of the song "Baka Mitai".

Why? Who knows. But I do not regret.

The Suicide of Ajax

drawing, music, #deep

The ancient Greek vase painter Exekias created a famous vase painting commonly known as the Suicide of Ajax Vase, which depicts the story of the hero Ajax from the Trojan war in the tragic moment when he decides to commit suicide. As an enthusiast of the arts I made an animation inspired by this. Jk, I made this for a class. Still, a decent example of how to animate with minimal redrawing.
